I don’t buy lotto tickets very often, though I probably should. That said, if I won the lottery the first thing I would do is relax. I do okay financially, but that can all change in a heartbeat. If I won the lottery, I’d feel like things would be ok; at least for the short term. My plans would depend on how much money it ended up being after taxes and all of that. I think ideally I’d pay off all of my debts and my families debts. Take a vacation… somewhere warm if I win the lottery this winter. I’d invest some of the money. I’d most definitely quit my job. I don’t do what I love, I do what I have to to make money and survive. I’d start a business, and I’d open up my own library. I would one hundred percent donate some of it, and I’d do something to give to those in need in my local area. I would do whatever I can to help others.
