Oooooh this is a fun one!! So, what movies or TV series have I watched more than 5 times? There are a LOT of movies, but I’ll keep the list short. I suppose I’ll start with TV series and go from there.
TV Series that I’ve watched more than five times:
How I Met Your Mother— I was introduced to this show quite a few years ago by a friend. She told me I HAD to watch it. I think this was before the final season aired or the season before that, and I binge watched the entire series to get ready for the finale. This show is hilarious, and it has become my comfort show ever since. I usually put it on with the sleep timer before I go to bed. Great and entertaining characters getting into messed up situations; it’s just an overall good time that keeps me laughing until I fall asleep.
Sons of Anarchy— This was another series introduced to me by a friend back when season 2 was airing. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen, and one of my favorites. I actually just finished rewatching it for the fifth time last month. Great acting, compelling characters and story, and action packed. It’s a bit gory, so it might not be for you, but I enjoyed it.
Game of Thrones— Okay, do I really need to say anything else? This is arguably the best TV series ever made. I rewatch it every year.
Movies I’ve watched more than five times:
The Crow (1994)— My favorite movie. I’ve probably seen this over 100 times. Some argue that it is still the best comic book movie ever made. I’d agree, but that’s mostly because it’s my favorite movie.
Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith— My favorite Star Wars movie. Again, I’ve seen this at least 100 times. This movie came out during a time in my life where I was going through a lot. I went to see it at the midnight release with a big group of friends. After that, I went to see it six more times. When the DVD came out, I watched it all the time. It’s really a great movie, but it also helped me get through some life changing things.
Spaceballs— HILARIOUS! My friends and I quote this movie all the time. It’s a classic!
Rocky IV— The best Rocky movie, but I love them all. The Rocky Balboa character, and story is extremely inspirational. You can feel the passion behind the creation of the character and films every time you watch it.
Batman: The Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan Trilogy— I can’t just put one of the three in here because to me it’s one big movie. I love most Batman movies that have been made. I’m pretty sure the George Clooney Batman is the one fans dislike the most. I believe this trilogy is the best put together Batman story we’ve gotten on the big screen. That could have been challenged by Zack Snyder with Ben Affleck as the dark knight, but DC got really messy and rebooted. That’s a whole other topic, though. I watch these movies at least twice a year!
Tombstone— Arguably the best western film made. Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp and Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday…. you could never find anyone that could come close to the performances of these two in this film. And that’s only two of a long list of amazing performances by the all of the actors in the movie. If you love westerns and you’ve never seen this film, what are you waiting for?
